What a wedding vendor negotiator does
A wedding vendor negotiator is a professional who talks to your vendors for you. You bring the quotes and proposals you've collected. We go back to each vendor and work on the number, the fees and the terms, then hand you a better offer to approve.
Here's what we push on:
- The price itself, including packages, minimums and per-guest rates.
- Hidden fees and extras: service charges, overtime, cake-cutting, delivery and setup fees that quietly stack up.
- Terms that are written for the vendor: deposits, payment schedules, cancellation and date-change clauses.
- What's included: hours of coverage, setup and cleanup, upgrades and extras you'd otherwise pay for.
We negotiate pricing and terms. We don't draft legal contracts or give legal advice, and you always have the final say.
Vendors we negotiate with
Almost any wedding contract: venue, caterer, bar service, florist, photographer, videographer, DJ or band, ceremony musicians, planner or coordinator, rentals, cake and desserts, hair and makeup, attire and alterations, officiant, transportation, hotel room blocks, invitations and stationery, lighting and décor, and more. Not sure where to start? Our wedding contract negotiation service page walks through the venue contract, which is usually the biggest one.

Why a flat fee beats a monthly retainer
Some wedding help is billed by the month, by the hour or as a percentage of your total budget. Those models can make sense for open-ended, all-hands planning. For negotiation, we think a flat fee is simply fairer:
- You know your total before we start. No meter running, no surprise invoice when planning takes longer than expected.
- A long engagement doesn't cost more. Many couples plan for a year or more. With a retainer, every extra month adds to the bill. With us, the price is tied to your contracts, not the calendar.
- Our fee doesn't grow with your spending. Percentage pricing rises as your wedding gets more expensive. Ours stays the same when we bring your costs down, which keeps everyone pointed the same way.
- It's easy to compare. One price per package makes it simple to weigh what we cost against what's on the table.
If you want someone managing every email and detail for months, a full planner may be the better fit. If you want better pricing and terms on specific contracts, a flat-fee negotiator is the simpler, lower-cost choice.
Negotiator, planner or lawyer?
They do different jobs. A planner designs and runs your wedding. A lawyer gives legal advice and handles disputes. A wedding vendor negotiator focuses on one thing: getting you a better deal on the contracts you're about to sign. Read our fair, side-by-side guide: Wedding Vendor Negotiator vs. Planner vs. Lawyer.
Wedding vendor negotiator FAQ
How much does a wedding vendor negotiator cost?
With us, it's a flat fee per package: Single Contract is $249, Up to 3 Vendors is $599, and Full Wedding (up to 7 vendors) is $1,195. Our first 10 brides get OG launch pricing of $199, $499 and $995 in exchange for an honest testimonial for our website. There are no percentages, no hourly billing and no monthly retainer.
Do you work with brides in my state?
Yes. We work 100% remotely and negotiate with vendors anywhere in the U.S. by phone and email.
Do you take money from vendors?
Never. We take no kickbacks or referral fees and have no vendor or coordinator relationships. You're our only client in the conversation.
Will hiring a negotiator make things awkward with my vendors?
That's the point of a third party. We negotiate professionally and respectfully, so you can keep the warm relationship with your vendors.
Who makes the final decision?
You do. We bring you the negotiated terms and a clear summary of what changed; you decide what to sign.
Are you lawyers?
No. We are professional negotiators and don't give legal advice or draft legal contracts. If something needs an attorney, we can refer you to a qualified, independent legal team.
How much will I save?
We target savings of up to 10%+ on your overall wedding, but every vendor and contract is different. Savings are not guaranteed and results vary.
